Thank you Fenway.
Only at Fenway does the standing-O go to the fired manager, while the one on payroll gets a “#FireBobbyV” movement started… In April. Happy Birthday Fenway, thank you for Bill Mueller, and thanks for 2004. Thank you for lines on Lansdowne, standing room only tickets and even those seats right behind the pole. Thanks again for 2007 and almost 2008 and ’03. Thank you for Manny and the cutoff play. Thanks for Tek punching A-Rod in the face, and I still don’t get why Zimmer thought charging the mound was a good idea. Thank you for those back-to-back-to-back-to-back home runs that have been rewinded over and over again. Thank you, Fenway Park, for Ted Williams, the red seat, and .406. Thanks for Nomar, Big Mo, Uncle Tim, and for some reason John Wasdin. Thanks for still having a team in the 1990’s, and those games with mom and Garret and all his friends, when the sox sucked just enough, the stands were more empty than the win column, and Dante Bichette batted clean-up. Game 5, the bloody sock, Bill’s walk-off, any Pedro start, 20-Strikeouts, Papi bombs and Tessie songs; thanks for all of it. Just please, Fenway Park, take it easy on the Boone’s, Dent’s, and September’s in 2011. We know you didn’t mean the whole Tony C. thing, until the Bryce Florie thing. Pink hats suck. They are not cool, and never okay. Also, your beer is more expensive than gas, and I’ll take two. Thanks for everything, big guy; here’s to another 100 years of emotional turmoil, Yankees Suck Shirts, bleacher seats, and of course,to another 100 years of unforgettable baseball. Stay green today Fens, and Go Red Sox.

Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Kurt Cobain were all left-handed, all died at the age of 27, and all their autopsies reported that a white bic lighter was found in their pockets. This is why it is said that white lighters are unlucky.
Unfortunately, Hendrix and Joplin died in 1970, Morrison in ‘71, and Cobain in ‘94. The BIC lighter was not introduced until 1973. Therefore, Kurt Cobain is the only one who could’ve died with a white BIC lighter in his pocket.
